Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto won the men's title at the Asuncion P2 in Paraguay, beating Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello 6-3, 7-5. Paula Josemaría Martín and Beatriz González Fernández took the women's title, beating Gemma Triay Pons and Delfina Brea Senesi 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. The Premier Padel event ran from 3 May to 10 May.
Men
Galán and Chingotto, ranked No. 3, beat Tapia and Coello, ranked No. 1, in two sets. The match lasted 6-3, 7-5.
The champions came through Íñigo Jofre and David Gala 7-6, 6-4 in the round of 16, then needed two tie-breaks to pass Juan Tello and Maximiliano Arce Simo 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 in the quarter-finals, before beating Eduardo Alonso and Aimar Goñi Lacabe 6-1, 7-5 in the semi-finals. Tapia and Coello reached the final by beating Jon Sanz and Jorge Nieto 6-1, 6-0 and Leandro Augsburger and Juan Lebrón 6-2, 6-1.
Alonso and Goñi Lacabe, ranked No. 18 and No. 32, knocked out Franco Stupaczuk and Miguel Yanguas 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in the quarter-finals. In the round of 16, Alonso Rodríguez Martínez and Juan Ignacio De Pascual, ranked No. 44 and No. 43, beat Javier Garrido and Lucas Bergamini 7-5, 6-3. The title was the fourth of the season for Galán and Chingotto.
Women
Josemaría and González, ranked No. 5 and No. 4, beat Triay and Brea, ranked No. 1, in three sets. Triay and Brea took the first set 6-4; Josemaría and González won the next two 6-3, 6-3.
The champions opened with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Beatriz Caldera Sánchez and Carmen Goenaga García, then beat Marta Ortega Gallego and Martina Calvo Santamaría 6-1, 6-2 in the quarter-finals and came back to beat Claudia Fernández Sánchez and Sofia Araujo 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the semi-finals. Triay and Brea got there by beating Alejandra Salazar Bengoechea and Alejandra Alonso De Villa 6-2, 6-4 and Ariana Sánchez Fallada and Andrea Ustero Prieto 7-6, 6-2.
It was the fourth title of the season for Josemaría and González.
