Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello won the men's title at the Bordeaux P2 in France, and Tamara Icardo Alcorisa and Claudia Jensen won the women's. Tapia and Coello beat Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto 5-7, 7-6, 6-2. Icardo Alcorisa and Jensen beat Gemma Triay Pons and Delfina Brea Senesi 3-6, 6-1, 6-1. The Premier Padel event ran from 28 June to 5 July.
Men
Tapia and Coello, ranked No. 1, lost the opening set of the final and took the next two. Galán and Chingotto, ranked No. 3, forced a tie-break in the second before the match turned.
The champions opened with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Maximiliano Sánchez and Gil, then needed three sets against González and Lucas Campagnolo, 7-5, 3-6, 6-1, and closed the semi-finals against Martín Di Nenno and Francisco Navarro 6-3, 6-2.
Galán and Chingotto reached the final by beating Jorge Nieto and Jon Sanz 6-1, 6-3 and then Miguel Yanguas and Franco Stupaczuk 7-5, 7-5. In the round of 16, Juan Tello and Maximiliano Arce Simo, ranked No. 19 and No. 29, beat Javier Leal and Francisco Guerrero 6-1, 6-7, 7-6.
It was the 6th Premier Padel title of the season for Tapia and Coello.
Women
Icardo Alcorisa, ranked No. 12, and Jensen, ranked No. 10, lost the first set of the final and won the last two for the loss of 2 games. Triay Pons and Brea Senesi, ranked No. 1, had won every match of the week in straight sets until then.
The champions beat Victoria Iglesias Segador and Aranzazu Osoro Ulrich 6-4, 6-1, came through three sets against Claudia Fernández Sánchez and Sofía Araujo, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, and then beat Paula Josemaría Martín and Beatriz González Fernández 6-4, 6-3 in the semi-finals.
Triay Pons and Brea Senesi arrived in the final after a 6-0, 7-6 win over Marina Guinart España and Verónica Virseda and a 7-5, 6-1 semi-final against Ariana Sánchez Fallada and Andrea Ustero Prieto. In the round of 16, Noa Cánovas Paredes and María Eulalia Rodríguez Abajo, both ranked No. 32, beat Marta Ortega Gallego and Martina Calvo Santamaría, ranked No. 11 and No. 8, 6-3, 6-2.
It was the first Premier Padel title of the season for Icardo Alcorisa and Jensen.
