Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto won the men's title at the Madrid P1 in Spain, beating Jorge Nieto and Miguel Yanguas 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Gemma Triay Pons and Delfina Brea Senesi took the women's title, beating Paula Josemaría Martín and Beatriz González Fernández 6-7, 6-3, 6-3. The Premier Padel event ran from 29 August to 6 September.
Men
Galán and Chingotto, both ranked No. 3, took the opening set 6-4, lost the second 5-7 and closed the final 6-4 against Nieto, ranked No. 12, and Yanguas, ranked No. 9. It was their 7th Premier Padel title of the season.
The champions beat Aris Patiniotis and Diego Garcia Garcia 6-2, 6-4 in the round of 32 and Juanlu Esbri and Gutierrez 6-4, 6-0 in the round of 16, then came through 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 against Martín Di Nenno and Francisco Navarro in the quarter-finals and 6-3, 6-4 against Iñigo Jofre and Jairo Bautista in the semi-finals. They dropped 2 sets in 5 matches, with 2 of those matches going to a third set.
Nieto and Yanguas reached the final by beating Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia 7-5, 7-6 in the quarter-finals and Gonzalo Alfonso and Valentino Gabriel Libaak 6-4, 7-6 in the semi-finals.
Coello and Tapia were ranked No. 1 at the tournament. In the round of 16, Alfonso and Libaak beat Leandro Augsburger, ranked No. 6, and Juan Lebrón, ranked No. 5, 7-6, 7-5, and Jose Jimenez Casas and Alejandro Arroyo beat Franco Stupaczuk, ranked No. 8, and Jon Sanz, ranked No. 10, 7-6, 6-4. Josemaría Martín and González Fernández reached the final by beating Marta Ortega Gallego and Sofia Araujo 6-0, 6-2 in the quarter-finals and Claudia Fernández Sánchez and Martina Calvo Santamaría 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 in the semi-finals.
